Okay, I guess I better catch up on the past couple of months. I'll start with Work.
We got a new computer system for work. I'm what they call a "Superuser". Every office in the state has at least one superuser. All superusers had to learn the new system so we could train the people in our offices. I was lucky and got to spend 4 weeks learning it. The first two weeks I was learning it I was just helping test the system to find bugs. The next week was my actual "training". The week after that, they asked me and another superuser to come back and help train the others. We had picked it up so fast they decided to use us. So at this point I was pretty good at the new system and I felt pretty comfortable with it. I guess me and this other superuser did something right because we were asked to help travel to the different offices in the state to help train them. Among the offices, I got to visit Draper, Richfield, Provo, Heber, and Tooele to name a few. It was a lot of fun and I was glad for the experience. I met lots of new people and made a lot of friends. I'll get back to this subject a little later on.
This year we went to Adam's side of the family for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time eating and playing games. We played a game Adam and I had never heard of before called "Would you rather..." It's so fun! You get different scenarios that you have to choose between. For example "Would you rather.... without being able to wash either one ever, use a dirty towel, or dirty sheets." The discussions we would get into were hilarious! Adam and I had so much fun playing it we bought it for ourselves. I highly recommend it to everyone. The food and company was excellent!
Christmas was a lot of fun this year! It was Logan's first Christmas and it excited us. Knowing he wouldn't understand what Christmas was, we just got him three presents. We wrapped only one of them to see what he would do with it. He just picked it up and looked at it, tossed it to the side and went for the toys he could see. He was so cute! He had fun playing with them. Later on we went to Adam's parents house for lunch and presents. We didn't have much time to spend there, but the time we did spend was great. After that, we went to my parents house for Christmas dinner and presents. My grandparents were invited to eat with us and it was great spending that time with them. As much as we love the holidays, I'm so glad it's over.

For New Years, we didn't do a thing. We were in bed at our regular time and didn't think anything of it. We're lucky if we can stay up past 10! So, nothing to report there.
Back to the subject of work! On January 1st, a new law went into effect. It has made our lives at work a nightmare! With this new law, everyone has to bring in legal documents like birth certificates, passports and social security cards among the few of them. We've had to start scanning all these documents into our computers and it has taken a toll on all of us. Customers are not happy either. Along with this new law, our new computer system went into effect as well! So we were basically thrown a double whammy! These two things combined has made our wait times ridiculously long going up as far as 5 hours. It has made everybody on edge. All of us are snapping at each other and supervisors are pressuring us to work harder because our numbers have been bad. It will take time to learn the new law and to get used to the new system. I have been running around the office fixing problems when they arise and it's even taking a toll on me! I had to recruit help. We got Katie from our office as a superuser as well and she has been a GREAT help! I would've lost my brain if it hadn't been for her. I am so grateful for her and for the help she has given me. Even for letting me vent my frustrations to her (and her to me). She has been my lifesaver! Now we're BOTH running around the office helping problems, but the load has lightened from my shoulders. A couple weeks ago, the manager of our office told me I was the number one superuser in the state. Meaning I'm the person who knows it the best out of all of them. That really made me proud of myself and made my spirits raise. It feels good knowing people are recognizing my work and appreciate it. Sometimes I feel like no one appreciates me, but I am reminded a couple times a week by various people. Although it may get stressful, I love the new system and it has been quite the experience to be part of something so big.
That's pretty much our last couple of months. Next month, we are looking forward to going to Colorado to visit Adam's sister and her family. We are excited to get out of the state and go somewhere. Even if it is the next state over.

Halloween

I don't know why, but I'm so excited for Halloween this year! In fact, I'm so excited, I already put up our decorations!!! (The few we have anyway) I took the pictures before I pulled the weeds, so it kind of looks a little tacky. Just imagine the weeds aren't there. Or just think of it as adding to the effect!! Hee hee!

Forgot to add this to the last one!

Adam makes Logan laugh all the time and he caught it on video for me while I was at work!

Catch up time!!!

I can't believe I haven't posted anything in over a month... Shame on me!! Well, let me catch everyone up on what's been going on!
In August, Adam went on a trip to California with his older brother Darrel. Darrel got tickets to Blizzcon (Blizzard Convention) and invited Adam to go with him. They drove to CA at 5:30 am on August 20th and got there around 3:30 pacific time. The convention was the 21st and the 22nd. They got to see previews of new games that are coming out next year. They had a lot of fun! Then they left at 5:30 pacific time on the 23rd to drive back home. Adam had to drop his brother off in Eagle Mountain and then he drove home. Meanwhile at home, Logan and I just hung out the whole weekend. Saturday he was really really grumpy so I took him to grandma and grandpa Nattress' house. I was very very happy to see Adam when he came back home! I missed him so much! That's only the second time I have slept alone since being married. When I packed the suitcase for Adam, we put Logan inside to see if he would fit. He looked so cute in there!! Hee hee!

Logan is getting so big now. I can't believe how much he's grown since he was born. I realized how much he grew when I put away his first box of clothes that were too small... I miss how tiny he was! I'm loving seeing him grow and develop, but when you look back you realize how tiny and helpless he was. Our love for him has grown so much! It's amazing how much love you can have for a child!
Today Logan tried his first vegetable! We started him off with green beans. He didn't know what to think of it at first! He's used to rice cereal so I think we threw him off. He got used to the taste after a couple of bites. He almost ate the whole thing but towards the end he started making faces and pushing his lips together so we couldn't put the spoon in. I can't believe how big he's getting!

Since Logan is getting older, I thought it was time to get him a bouncer. He LOVES his bouncer. He's getting better with his balance since he's had this. He still isn't sitting on his own, but I hope this will help him with that!
Every year my dad works at the fair. He is usually at the grandstand entrance taking tickets at the gate. This year, he got Adam a job there too! Adam will be working the fair at night after he gets off of work. I hope he'll have fun doing this! I know my dad likes it and I can only hope Adam has the same appreciation for it. I love the fair! I don't really ever buy anything there but the atmosphere is worth the trip! I'm excited to start taking Logan and I hope he'll love it as much as I do as he gets older.

4th of July Weekend

This weekend was quite eventful! On Friday, Steven and Katheryn got married in the Draper Temple. It was so beautiful and I'm so happy for them! Steven found an awesome companion! I'm so glad Katheryn and Sammy are in our lives now and we welcome both of them with open arms. The sealing was at 10 am and then we had a luncheon afterwards. Then their reception was at 6 pm that night. Katheryn looked so beautiful. The church was decorated very nicely and it was just a wonderful day. I'm glad Steven found someone to make him happy. You can see the change in his life and he's a different person for the better because of her.

Saturday we were having dinner at my grandparents house to celebrate the 4th of July. We brought our own meat to barbeque and everyone brought sides. It was so yummy! The salads everyone made were wonderful. My cousin Travis had come out from California for Steven's wedding. It was so great to see him! I don't remember the last time I got to see him and hang out! We were all so glad that he made it out. My grandma had us all play musical chairs and it was really fun! The guys played first and Travis was the winner! Then the girls played next and Macy won that round.

Logan

Well, it's been too long since I've put up pictures of my little man! Logan is now almost 10 weeks old. He weighs 10 lbs and 4 oz and is in the 19th percentile for weight. He's definately got his daddy's genes! I'm not sure how tall he is, but he's in the 55th percentile for height. I have gone back to work and grandma is watching him Monday through Wednesday and then my sister is taking him on Thursdays. It's just a joy watching him grow up! I can't believe he's two and a half months already! Time is just going by so fast

It was really cold the other day, so we put him in this cute little outfit! We couldn't resist taking pictures!

Whenever he goes to sleep, we look over at him two minutes later and his head is in that exact position! No matter how many times we straighten him out, he goes right back to this position.

Cereal

The other night, Adam and I were really hungry but neither of us wanted to make dinner. So while I was feeding Logan, I asked Adam to make me a BIG bowl of cereal because I was starving. So while he goes downstairs, I was sitting there feeding Logan and watching tv. Adam comes back in the room two minutes later with a 1/4 cup filled with cereal and milk. And to top it off, he added a 1/8 tsp for me to eat it with. I laughed so hard, it took me 5 minutes just to calm back down. And then I ate it and he made me a real bowl of cereal. This was just too funny not to share!
