Recipes

I like to try out new recipes. I want to share a few of them that we've really enjoyed!

Spicy Sausage and Peppers with Penne
Taken from a Pampered Chef cookbook
8 oz uncooked penne pasta
1 lb hot Italian turkey sausage (about 4 links)
1 each: medium green, red and yellow bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips

2 garlic cloves, pressed

2 tsp Italian Seasoning Mix
1/4 cup (1 oz) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
Cook Pasta according to package directions. Drain and keep warm. Meanwhile, cook sausage in skillet over medium-high heat 14-16 minutes or until sausage is lightly browned and no longer pink, turning occasionally Remove sausages from skillet; cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces and set aside. Cut bell peppers into 1/4 inch strips. Coursely chop onion. In same skillet, cook bell peppers, onion and garlic over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until peppers are crips-tender, stirring occasionally. Add sausage, tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasoning mix. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Place pasta in large bowl; pour suace mixture over pasta, tossing to coat. Our Next Vacation

On September 15th through the 18th, we will be taking Adam's little sister and brother to San Diego. We're going to be going to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. Possibly the Wild Animal Park, but that's still under discussion. I'm hoping to make it down to the beach because I don't remember ever seeing an ocean. I'm so excited to go! We're going to have so much fun!

Disney Vacations

We love Disneyland! You can say we're Disneyland obsessed! In 2007 we went twice. First time was for our honeymoon and the second time we took my husband's little sister and brother. We had a BLAST!!!! We are very ready to go again!
